The CONNECT report was created and supported by the insights and experience of a key group of non-elected community leaders representing 15 counties in North and South Carolina. Convened by the Centralina and Catawba Regional Councils of Governments, the 37 members of the Regional Visioning Task Force met during the summer and fall of 2006, working with the guidance of one of the nation’s most respected regional planners.
